Winter Registration

August 2010

General Information

To register, you must:

pay:
- either e-mail transfer from your bank to
- or deliver cash or cheque (to "The Nepean Spitfires") to your team's registrar.
have up-to-date contact information in our database., and
have signed a waiver.
fulfill any other requirements the league may demand.

Spitfires summer players: Your waiver and info from summer are still good; you just need to pay.

The fee for a full-time player pays is based on:

the venue's fee divided by the number of players on the team (Coliseum is 2175+HST, NCISL is 2095+HST)
plus a $18 winter EODSA registration fee for each NCISL player
plus a $10 per-player, per-season equipment-use fee if the team is using club equipment

A spare/call-up player is charged the registration fee. The team will decide on an equitable per-game fee.

Late Player Registrations

Once the season begins, a player may still register (space permitting) to a team. The registration fee will reflect a proportional amount of the season remaining plus the EODSA fee (if applicable). Note: If there are more than 10 regular season games remaining in the season, the full registration fee is required.

Team Rosters

Typically there is a lot of demand for spots on indoor teams. We cannot guarantee a spot to everyone but we will make every attempt to place you on a team appropriate for your skill level. Team rosters will be determined based on skill level, registration in past years, and order of registration. There are no tryouts for indoor teams. The club coaching staff reserves the right to place players according to their skill level.

Spares

Spares must pay their EODSA registration fee (if applicable). Their team will decide on an equitable per-game fee.

Note that spares must fill out the forms just like a full-time player unless they are already registered to another team at that facility and are callup for a second team. In that case, they will have paid the registration fee and signed all the forms with their first team.

Refunds

Refunds will be reviewed for players who were forced to miss over 50% of their games. Ask your coach to contact the executive on your behalf.
